Nikola Tesla, the best version of oneself is found in good habits
Nikola Tesla, was born on 10th July, 1856 in Smiljan, Croatia, and died on 7th January 1943 in New York, USA; for many people he had one of the most brilliant minds in the history of mankind.
He is known for his multiple inventions based on electromagnetism. His patents and work in this field were the foundation of modern systems for the use of electrical power by alternating current (that today lights the whole world), including the polyphase electrical distribution system and the AC motor, basis of the Second Industrial Revolution.
In 1943 The Supreme Court of the United States recognised Tesla as the inventor of radio, until then attributed to Marconi.”
Furthermore, this inventor, mechanical and electrical engineer and physicist of Serbian origin is credited with more than 700 inventions, many of which have not yet materialised.

Tesla lived to invent. He would spend sleepless nights if he was inspired.
His inventions comprise wireless electricity, radio (erroneously attributed to Marconi), remote control, radar, X-rays, the electron microscope, the loudspeaker, fluorescent lights, spark plugs, automobile ignition, the base for the Microwave oven, the alternator … Even the first hydroelectric plant at the Niagara Falls is his creation.
This overwhelming inventive capacity was driven by an extraordinary clear personal potential that enabled him to continue evolving thanks to his tenacity, passionate dedication and good habits.
Tesla was aware that a healthy body is a vehicle for optimising the capacities of the mind so he took pains to look after himself. To do this, he walked between 8 and 10 kilometres daily, and complemented this exercise by flexing each toe 100 times a day.
Science is but a perversion of itself unless it has as its ultimate goal the betterment of humanity”. – Nikola Tesla
Furthermore, Tesla was a vegetarian and loved drinking vegetable juice. Before adopting vegetarianism, he first stopped eating meat and then fish. He watched his diet to the extent that he was served personalised meals at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.

Thanks to Tesla and his electrical engineering you can turn on the light every day and you can now be reading this post.
His vegetarianism was based on deep, and, naturally well-reasoned motives: “That we can subsist on food derived from plants and perform our work even to our benefit, is not a theory, but a well-proven fact. Many races that live almost exclusively on vegetables are of a superior physique and strength.
“There is no doubt that some plant-derived foods, such as oats, are more economical than meat, and superior to the latter with regard to both mechanical and mental performance. Such foods are also not so hard on our digestive organs and, by making us more satisfied and sociable, produce a number of incalculable benefits.”
A person of progressive ideas, an advocate for animals and multilingual; pages could be written on his peculiarities. It is worth mentioning that he was a strong defender of women’s intelligence, to the point of predicting that women would overcome social obstacles in the future and even spearhead a more intellectual society.
Vegetarianism exerts a strong influence on the mind and how it works, as well as on the health and vigour of the body.” Nikola Tesla
