Moringa is considered “the most complete food on earth”.  Each and every part of the Moringa oleifera has a nutritional and anti-oxidant value but this is true above all for the leaves, especially when dried.

The Yguá leaves concentrate the nutritional essence of the Moringa trees that we grow organically in the fertile soil of Piribebuy, Paraguay. We call our Moringa leaves by the Guarani Word “Togue”.

This green nutritional plant treasure is prepared traditionally by picking and stripping the Moringa Yguá leaves by hand, which is followed up by drying them naturally under the mild breeze of Piribebuy, sheltered from the sun´s rays.

The composition of the Yguá leaves is a concentrate of:

• Complete plant protein. The Moringa leaves provide us with the 9 essential amino acids that our organs and tissues need. The amino acids act like building blocks in our cells constantly regenerating, repairing and breaking down the tissues. We need to take in the complete protein because our bodies do not produce the essential amino acids and Moringa is a quality plant protein source.
• Rich in micronutrients. It is a 100% natural alternative to vitamin supplements, containing 15 essential minerals and 7 vitamins A, E, K; as well as vitamin C (15,2mg /100g) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) in 18,6 mcg/100g, together with B9 (folic acid) and vitamin B1, which help the metabolic process in the cells.
• The antioxidant contribution of Yguá Moringa is 14 times that of berries such as blueberry or cranberry or 100 times that of green tea. The ORAC measurement (anti-oxidant capacity of food) reaches 131.000 μmol.

With the growth of scientific interest in this tree, studies have been published on its properties: hypoglycaemic, hypolipidaemic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-carcinogenic and hepatoprotective, amongst others.

The Moringa leaves are ideal for using in liquid form. Their many micro and macronutrients can be drunk after infusing or macerating them in cold water. To do this we recommend using between 6 and 9gr to one litre of water (a soup spoon holds about 3 gr of Moringa).

If making an herbal tea, make sure the water is not boiling. The infusion should stand for 5 to 10 minutes although if it is left longer (even 3 or 4 hours) the taste does not change; it remains mild, smooth and with a vegetable flavour.

The best method is to macerate in cold water for the Moringa to keep all its micronutrients since some may be sensitive to heat. With this method, it will take rather more time, using as a marker the moment the colour of the liquid becomes golden or amber. The leaves can stay in water for hours without losing their properties.

The leaves can also be added to food like pasta, rice, stews, salads, soups or any dish you want and they can be used for cooking if they go with the dish.

Its taste is mild, slightly vegetable and spicy and hardly alters the main flavour of the dish it is added to.

When will I receive the invoice?

Once payment has been made, Yguá will send you the invoice by email in a PDF file, issued in the name of the person or Company using the data you have provided.

What are the delivery charges?

Charges vary depending on the country and place of delivery. On making a purchase, you will see a list of delivery charges, which will correspond to your order and will also depend on the total amount of the order.

When will the Yguá Moringa be delivered?

In mainland Spain delivery time takes between 1 and 2 working days allowing for a day after the day the order is submitted, counting working days but excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. For the rest of Spain an extra day can be expected; for international deliveries between 5 and 7 working days.

These are only approximate times that may vary according to circumstances beyond Yguá´s control.

Is it possible for me to track my order?

You are able to track your order on the transport company website by using the tracking code you will be provided with.

What to do in case there is a problem with the delivery?

Should your order not arrive within the estimated time, you should contact Customer Service.

If the package is damaged on the outside, refuse delivery and get in touch with us as soon as possible at Customer Service.

On opening the package, if you are not satisfied with the merchandise received, we suggest you get in touch with us by telephone at Customer Service.
